If you can’t read French, it’s high time you learnt, cause I’m likely to lack time to keep writing in both languages. Follow the link for the French post : link.
A good start… (Plus : Happy birthday mum !)
November 1, 2006Helsinki (Finland)
October 7, 2006My friends and I went to Helsinki for a day. As for Tallinn, we went there by an overnight boat. There’s nothing exciting to say about Helsinki, it’s not very touristic a city. But if you go there, avoid Hessburger, the local McDonald-like fastfood. Their burgers taste like shit.
Buffet at City Hall
October 5, 2006Hej ! The foreign students in Stockholm were invited last Wedenesday at an awesome buffet in the City Hall (where the Nobel prices ceromony takes place). In normal circumstances, this place is to be visited. We had dinner there ! That was great.

Still there
September 8, 2006Hehehej ! I’ve no been dead till now, just a bit busy with some school stuff : Swedish exam, and then my new courses. Well, I mean my single new course. I’m still learning Swedish, now in level 3 (Intermediate). And for the technical part, I only have one “big” course (15 ECTS). In fact, it’s very few hours at school, but some homework for seminars. Tallinn (Estonia)
August 21, 2006Hej again ! Last week, we all (many foreign students, maybe 50) went to Tallinn for one day. We made it there by boat : departure on Thursday 6pm, arrival on Friday 10pm (partying on the boat all night). We then visited Tallinn all day, mainly the old city, really fantastic, though turist-crowded. We went back to Sthlm on Saturday morning, after another boat journey, during wich I won 300 SEK (30 €) in the casino ! Read the rest of this entry »
Scandinavian Superjam
August 21, 2006Hej ! Last week we went to an open-air Superjam. Russian, Swedish, Finnish and Norwegian break-dancers battled like three hours long. Really cool ! On top, I never had seen a battle before. Read the rest of this entry »
Party at Osqvik
August 13, 2006This week’s been busy with parties and BBQs, and ended with Saturday’s party at Osqvik. The Student Union owns a marvellous cottage in the southern countryside of Stockholm. So we spent the evening there, in the house that stands in the forest and has a sauna just by the sea. The crowded-bus journey lasted a hour and a half but really was worth it.
Comments + Gallery update + Gaypride parade
August 7, 2006A short post to tell I allowed the comments, I updated some galleries (Frescati) and I added the gaypride gallery. The gaypride parade was on Saturday ; thousands of people in the streets of Stockholm all afternoon, loud music, peacocking funny gay, lesbian and trans people parading, etc. Quite fun !
Yet another month starting
August 4, 2006
Well, ok, this new month isn’t only slightly different from July, but is in many ways. We were maybe 40 exchange students ; now we’re about 600 (800 on the whole year, that’s 10% of the students in KTH). It was “hot” and sunny everyday ; now it’s alternatively windy-rainy and not-so-bad, but hardly warm. My Swedish teacher would be interesting, dynamic, even funny ; now, for Level 2, my (new) teacher is so boring you would never want to spend a hour with her, I can tell you that. And eventually, my “flickvän” Anne-Sophie’s arrived on Tuesday. Kul ! This migtht be the only new thing among those that I’m happy with. But I’m still doing very well here, I’m not complaining though it looks so.
